Macarena Recuerda Shepherd Artist and professional dancer. Member of art project The Sauna International.
She has worked with the artists Amanda Pola and Vicente Arlandis. In 2008 she founded and is currently a member of Colectivo Estraperlo, a platform for new, hard-to-label creators.
Her work to date comprises: 2010 “That’s the story of my life”, produced by MiCarteraPatrocina, with financial support from ConCa and additional support from the Teatre Lliure and the Antic Teatre, and which has toured across Spain and Portugal.
2012 “Greenwich Art Show”, produced by MiCarteraPatrocina, Festival Neo, CAET and Antic Teatre; and 2012 “Greenwich Art Show – The Installation” Beca Atrio Alhondiga, Bilbao.
2013 «Whose are those eyes?» Sit specif and urban intervention that will premiere at the Fira de Tarrega 2013, Escena Poblenou 2013 and Festival BAD 2013. Has the Fira de Tarrega Laboratory Scholarship, offered jointly Residence Escena Poblenou and Antic Teatre, and the Residence Bilbao Eszena.
